This building is a newer extension to the main hospital and is used by members of the public and patients of the hospital to help in their recovery. I think it’s the general ambience that helps the patients – the grounds and the building all help the patient’s well-being. Once a week patients are taken out in a buggy to tour the grounds.

It is very varied, with a lovely team of people. It is like working in a big home and it is like a big family and everyone is willing to help out.

It helps them immensely, seeing the beauty in their surroundings is high on the list of priorities of why people like to stay there.

A few changes are required but the only one that can think of right now is access. The hospital would have been built at a time when disabled access was not considered.

They like the individual rooms, the décor, and the surroundings and how they are cared for. It is unique.
